For the past decade, Alice Rouse Colegrove has been sitting on the sidewalks of Boston strumming her guitar and loving those who call the streets their home. Alice brings her loud voice and diminutive size to music venues, park-benches and academic forums throughout the Boston area. Both her music and academic work draw attention to those who the world tends to forget.

Alice has a Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH), and her research examines supportive housing for homeless young adults. Her academic expertise and street-experiences have taken her all over the world from the sewers of  Romania to the jungles of Peru, the cornfields of Indiana, and the sidewalks of Boston.

Dr. Alice is married to Timothy Colegrove, who is currently pursuing an M.Div from Gordon Conwell. Alice & Tim are currently working with others in the planning/fundraising phase of a revolutionary housing initiative for homeless youth in Boston.
